Project Description:
This property was affected in 2018 from hurricane Harvey. It had 67 buildings and 530 affected units. 308 of those units had 3 and 7ft of water inside.
Our client was Interstate Restoration and their client was the Property Ownership Group. Our client Interstate Restoration came in and did the mitigation work on this. They removed water and all the interior materials of this project before we came in for reconstruction. They did the mitigation, they sprayed the chemicals and so forth. We were hired to put it all back together and worked with them to do so.
The project was scheduled to be a 12-month job but even with the additional work, we were able to get this project done in 10 months.
Scope of Work:
- Electrical rewiring and finish out in 156 units
- Plumbing repairs, put back and finish out in 273 units
- Framing adjustments in 308 units
- Complete interior finish outs over 100 units
- Removal, replacement and installation of 3,014 windows in 67 buildings
- Repair framing for 6-8 units affected by electrical fire while project was ongoing
- Handled storage, delivery and disbursements
